Dr. Batcha has the distinguished honor of being the first board-certified Reproductive Medicine Specialist in Sri Lanka by the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, Sri Lanka. Dr. Milhan Batcha graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka, in 1997. He received his internship training at The National Hospital of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Dr. Batcha obtained his MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2005.
Dr Batcha received his post-doctoral fellowship training in Reproductive Medicine at NURTURE, the University of Nottingham’s infertility treatment unit in the UK, from 2008 to 2010. Dr Batcha is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the European Society of Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Batcha excels in treating polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, and performing IVF treatment procedures. He specializes in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries, addressing complex fertility-related Gynaecological conditions. His expertise extends to performing microsurgeries to retrieve sperm for male patients with azoospermia, providing comprehensive care for both partners.
